I know this post may surprise male part of the audience, though I am sure: "Future belongs to women".
Now that phrase may raise some eyebrows, but in a few years, it will be a simple factual statement.
What makes me think so? Look which countries successfully go through the pandemic unfolding. New Zealand, Germany, Taiwan, Iceland, Finland - those in every sense diverse countries have selected very different approach towards the COVID strategy. However, all chosen strategies do work and we don't hear negative news about those countries. What is common about those countries? They are led by women.
And it is not a coincidence. Ability to improvise; Comprehensive, attentive and detailed communication style; Empathy that facilitates trust-building; Curious and attentive listening; Less competitive attitude; Strong sense of fairness and ability to persuade; Collaborative decision-making. I may continue listing down all female qualities, which give them an advantage in the modern world where centuries-old male leadership features don't work anymore.
Currently, in many organisations, women are hugely underestimated as a talent source. However new economy - where hierarchy is not needed, where the principle "give orders and control everything" doesn’t work, where empowerment and delegation are assumed by default - will quickly put everything in proper order.
